R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison Wednesday after being convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking.

U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly imposed the sentence on Kelly after a nearly three-hour hearing. Kelly did not address the court during the hearing.

The article goes on to state the following:

The victims held hands while the sentence was read and Kelly had no apparent reaction.

Some of his victims gave statements during the hearing.

One woman said, “You made me do things that broke my spirit. I literally wished I would die because of how low you made me feel. Do you remember that?”

A different woman, who broke into tears, said that this conviction has restored her faith in the justice system.

She said, “I once lost hope, but you restored my faith,” while addressing the court.

One woman said she was 17 when Kelly took advantage of her after a concert.

She said, “I was afraid, naïve and didn’t know to handle the situation.”

She added, “Silence, is a very lonely place.”

Sky News tweeted Wednesday, “BREAKING: R Kelly has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after being found guilty of racketeering and trafficking in September 2021.”

Reporter Taylor Hansen tweeted, “R. Kelly was just sentenced to 30 years in Prison for subjecting fans and children to sexual abuse— Meanwhile, Ghislaine Maxwell ran an international trafficking ring involving some of the most influential and powerful people in the world and she gets 20 years in Prison. Both are obviously terrible, but it’s clear who should have received the heftier sentence here. We can’t talk about Maxwell’s clients, they abused and ruined the lives of countless people but they’re not important! Our system is completely broken.”

AJ+ tweeted, “BREAKING: R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison for running a scheme to recruit and sexually abuse women and children. He still faces another trial for child pornography and other charges. 11 survivors testified at R. Kelly’s trial. 5 said they were underage when he abused them. They testified to being forced to sign NDAs, punished for breaking ‘Rob’s rules’ and being forced into sex. Witnesses testified on his abuse of Aaliyah, whom he married when she was 15.”

  1. Now the courts need to follow suit wy all the Demonrats and Hollywood “elites” that are doing it.
    The list is quite long.

  2. I guess he didn’t rub elbows with the elite in this country. To bad Maxwell didn’t get more time but she had the elite that she serviced to protect her. It’s time to lock up all of these pedos and let the prison system take care of them, throw them into general population.
