Two people died and another five were injured after a T-bone crash sent a smashed-up car spiraling into pedestrians in Brooklyn on Monday, police said.
The wreck happened just before 1 p.m. when a 49-year-old man lost control of his car on 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst and apparently blew threw a red light before ramming into another vehicle at the intersection of 64th Street, cops said.
Surveillance footage shows the two cars colliding with each other and spinning out of control, with one barreling onto the sidewalk and another down the street.
Of the five people injured, one was reported to be in critical condition, and the other four are hospitalized in stable condition.
Police reportedly took the driver of the out-of-control car into custody.
The terrifying crash was caught on surveillance video. One pedestrian is seen miraculously escaping being hit.
The speeding white car T-boned the second vehicle, crashed into a light pole, then skidded onto the sidewalk. The light pole topples over, and car parts are seen flying everywhere.

Some people don’t deserve to have a driver’s license. Lost control of his car, I call BS. He flat out ran a red light and caused the death of two innocent victims and injured pedestrians too! This person should never drive legally again.
This dude should be locked up in prison for 20 years. He killed two people and injured others due to his incompetence and reckless driving. Just what was his attention on while driving, his mobile phone? I guess he has the attention span of a knat and an IQ of 8.
