A co-founder of Women for Trump and organizer of the Jan. 6, 2021, “Stop the Steal” rally spoke out against former President Trump following Rep. Mo Brooks’s (R-Ala.) loss to Katie Britt in the Alabama GOP Senate primary Tuesday.

Trump, who initially endorsed Brooks in the race, announced earlier this month that he would transfer his support to Britt after withdrawing his support from the Alabama congressman three months earlier. The race proved to be divisive within the GOP, with several prominent Republicans, including Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas), continuing to support Brooks even after Trump announced he would back Britt.

The article goes on to state the following:

“Donald Trump is disconnected from the base,” Amy Kremer, chairwoman of Women for America First, told Politico. “It’s time for those of us in the movement to get back to basics, back to our first principles … We were here long before President Trump came along, and we’re going to be here long afterward.”

Kremer is the person who helped organize the Jan. 6 “Stop the Steal” rally near the White House on January 6, 2021.

On Monday, ahead of Tuesday’s election in Alabama, Kremer wrote, “I’m on the ground in Alabama & Trump got this way wrong. People are very angry at him. This is the 2nd time he has done this to the people of AL (Luther Strange) & I’m not sure they will get over this. They view it as a slap in the face & a disconnect from the ppl. I get it…”

“But oh boy…it’s bad. Either way, there is going to need to be a lot of damage control.”

“I don’t care about Trump’s wins. I care about America,” Kremer wrote.

“Cheney, Kinzinger, McConnell AND Donald Trump’s endorsed candidate won tonight in Alabama. They say that politics makes for strange bed fellows. But the thought of Donald Trump, McConnell, Cheney and Kinzinger in bed together is too much for me to wrap my head around,” Kremer tweeted after Britt won the primary over Brooks.

Late Monday night, just ahead of Tuesday’s election, Kremer posted a letter to Alabama on her Facebook page Monday night.

“I think President Trump is the best president of my lifetime, but President Trump is wrong in his endorsement of Mitch McConnell’s candidate in the Alabama Senate election,” she wrote.

“Katie Britt scrubbed her social media and her husband’s too before running for Senate. Some of the scrubbed posts include support for Black Lives Matter,” Kremer alleged in her post, noting that Britt also has a record of being pro-abortion and recently received a massive donation from a pro-abortion mega-donor.

The letter was posted so late, it is likely most Alabamans never saw it before they voted.

  1. Uh, so voters are too stupid to vote intelligently in spite of a Trump endorsement? Blame the voters, not Trump for the lazy voters in Alabama.

  2. Well if she has her facts right about the scrubbed social medial before Brit ran, she has a good point. Trump doesn’t always get it right. Even the best make mistakes. I cringed when I read who else backed that candidate!

  3. Now, I also say that Mo Brooks got what he asked for. How in the world are going to speak to a MAGA crown and tell them to, again, forgive and forget what the demoNcRats have done? How in the world are you going to tell them to forget about the stolen election on 2020? He just demonstrated that he was going to be a weak senator that would allowed the demoNcRats to do whatever they wanted, and then “forget, forgive and move on.” No, thank you!

  4. Also Trump got what he asked for for appointing the worst for the most important positions, such as attorney general, FBI director, 2 of the SCJs, etc.

  5. No more “back to RINOism”. It’s dead. We’re done. Feeling a bit dumb that I even posted to your crap! But “back to…” has ALWAYS been the wrong way!!!

  6. He certainly messed up pa and ga too. Vernon jones would have been great governor. He had him switch his race too late to campaign for senate. And OZ? Omg.. i just dont get it sometimes. I liked mo brooks. He said one wrong thing about moving on and Trump dropped him.

    • Vernon is the male version of Kim Klacik and should never be in office again. As for Oz, no one in that race was any good. It was between him and a Bush backed candidate.

  7. All this anti Trump garbage is being pushed by the weak republican backstabbing swamp politicians. Dive into this deeper and you find brooks is weak and would slide in with the good old boys and not do the work of the people!!!

  8. I like Amy, but Trump is already looking like a genius because Mo is going full Joe Walsh on Trump, which should also piss off the base.

The first thing he did when Trump revoked his endorsement was run to CNN lol.

  9. No to Mo was the way to go! It’s over now. Move on to November and vote Republican. Don’t let the Dems divide us. We may not like it, but we must show unity at this time.

  10. The DOUBLE-FACE of individuals happens ALL THE TIME; people are so EASILY INFLUENCED. We see it in Families, Friends, so this doesn’t surprise me. We MUST FOCUS on the ACTUAL ACTIONS and RESULTS of those determined for “a BETTER CHANGE”. We MUST have CHANGE or LOOSE our AMERICAN way of Life.
