MSNBC has announced the cancellation of 'The ReidOut,' hosted by Joy Reid, as part of a larger network restructuring.
Reid, who is black, hosted a show known for its focus on political and racial commentary. It will be replaced by a new program, and this decision comes after a significant period of controversy and discussion surrounding Reid's approach to political topics. She often called Trump and his supporters terrible names. Her last show is expected to air this week.

MSNBC is planning to replace Ms. Reid’s program with a show led by a trio of anchors: Symone Sanders Townsend, who is black, is a political commentator and former Democratic strategist; Michael Steele, who is black, is a former chairman of the Republican National Committee and Trump critic; and Alicia Menendez, who is a TV journalist. They currently co-host “The Weekend,” which airs Saturday and Sunday mornings.
