The already heated battle between Republicans and Democrats over the presidential election just escalated into a massive firestorm, after the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Friday night.

Despite demands from the Democrats to hold off appointing a replacement, President Trump has said he will do his constitutional duty and announce his nominee to fill the vacancy on Saturday, and has confirmed that his nominee will be a woman.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has vowed to move forward and bring a vote to the floor, and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said Monday evening that Senate Republicans have “the votes to confirm Justice Ginsburg’s replacement before the election.”

A report published on Tuesday states, “Republicans are cautiously optimistic that the looming fight to fill the Supreme Court vacancy created by Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death will benefit President Trump’s reelection chances.”

“It’s hard to see how this doesn’t help Republicans politically. The Supreme Court fight reframes the election in a way that’s helpful for President Trump. Rather than focusing on his tweets and handling of COVID, many voters will now focus on the Supreme Court,” reasoned GOP strategist Alex Conant.

PLEASE TAKE OUR POLL BELOW – WE WANT YOUR OPINION! Will this Supreme Court battle prompt Republican voters to turn out in a landslide for Trump?  Do you think this issue will give Trump a boost over Biden in the election?

  1. This will boost Trump huge! This will be just another proof that he is a true conservative that leads with those kinds of values! Trump continues to keep his promises that he has promised to do! Trump 2020!!

  2. He is fulfilling a commitment that he made to us in the 2016 election to select constitutional justices for the Supreme Court. This is one reason why we elected him and a majority Republican Senate! If he were to choose to wait, it could be a turn off for some of his base and that might send them over to the enemy!

  3. At first, I didn’t think it would matter. But after seeing how the Dems reacted,(Protesting and threatening), then now I believe the Senate needs to stand up to them and not be bullied. President Trump is not intimated and that’s why He’s so popular with the people. This will not only help us vote even more for the President, but also for Senators who have some backbone. “Stand up America”

  4. I think Trump will win anyway you look at it. However, I believe this will be the honesty and integrity we need to verify the outcome.
    Trump 2020!!!

  5. Same here. I didn’t think it would help either way, but maybe get him more votes. He can appoint a Supreme Justice, but he still has to win the election somehow over all the obstacles the Dems try. I do believe it will get more votes for Pres.Trump, especially the Independents and those on the fence that would stay home. Their thought of hope and support around the Supreme Court would help Pres. Trump get this country back in a promising direction.
But, if somehow Biden wins illegally, the hope is gone along with their(Dems) attempt to dismantle that majority on the SCOTUS.

Regardless, Pres.Trump will win legally. It would be wonderful if he could call his victory and have the support he needs to succeed in repairing America!

  6. I’m sure it will help, however what I really believe is that most people are concerned now of the threats of violence! That has become a kitchen table issue!
