A 22-year-old Portland protester sporting multiple face tattoos did what anyone would do two hours after getting released from jail – he promptly got busted again.

Darby Marshall Howard told cops he was homeless and had arrived two weeks earlier in the Oregon city besieged by protesters for much of the past year.

The article goes on to state the following:

On Thursday, Howard joined about 50 protesters at the Wells Fargo Center – the city’s tallest skyscraper – after they pushed their way inside the building and refused to leave, The Oregonian reported.

The report states that while inside the Wells Fargo building Thursday afternoon, Howard caused over $1,000 in damages by punching a television in the lobby, then kicking in a glass sliding door.

When officers apprehended him outside, Howard punched a cop in the head. He was arrested, charged and then released about 8:30 that evening.

Howard went right back to the protests, and was arrested again just two hours later during the attack on the federal courthouse, for slamming an electric scooter into one of the large glass window panes, shattering it.

During his second arrest, he was still wearing the same neon-orange shoes the jail had given him earlier that day.

Below is video footage of the invasion of the Wells Fargo bank building where Howard destroyed a TV screen and a glass door.

The Helena, Montana Police Department had issued a missing persons report on Howard last month, saying he had not been heard from in several days and “may be without his medication” and “might harm himself.”

The police later announced he had been found.
