REPORT: 4-year-old walks into DC hospital with gunshot wound

WASHINGTON — A 4-year-old girl was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound Saturday morning in D.C., according to DC police.

Shortly before 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a hospital for reports of a walk-in victim. DC police said a four-year-old girl was shot. She was found conscious and breathing, according to police. It was later revealed the child was with an adult at the hospital.

It is unclear how the child was shot. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently under investigation.

  1. Being a walk-in patient doesn’t mean the 4 year old randomly walked in with a gunshot wound. More than highly likely carried in by an adult. I can’t stand the lying media.

  2. Yes very poorly written article! Not surprised since the article was from WUSA9 the news channel in Washington! Not someplace like Fox with people who can sometimes investigate and get accurate details before composing the news article either in print online or a live report on air! Our country has been so dumbed down and the people who are hired to do important jobs are dumb as a box of rocks!!
