Fencing around the Capitol installed ahead of the “Justice for J6” rally on Saturday started coming down on Sunday afternoon, according to footage shared by several reporters on Twitter.

“And just as fast as it went up, the fence erected around the Capitol for the ‘Justice for J6’ rally is now coming back down,” tweeted Associated Press reporter Mike Balsamo along with a video of construction workers hauling away sections of fence.

The article goes on to state the following:

The fencing was installed around the Capitol last week ahead of Saturday’s rally to protest the criminal charges and treatment of individuals charged in connection with storming the Capitol earlier this year.

Capitol Police did say that the fence will come down “soon after” the event “if everything goes well.”

CNN’s Jim Acosta posted a photo of the fence when it was erected last Thursday, ahead of what he referred to as the “pro-insurrectionist protest.”

  1. DML we don’t have to get rid of the 14th amendment to stop what are called anchor babies. If anyone with a brain reads the document in total it states that people with Foreign allegiance do not qualify (the parents) so a person who is a citizen of another nation has a child here that child is not a US citizen!!!!

  2. IMHO the current congress justifies a new sign above the Capital Building doors. CAPITAL ASYLUM. What was that movie line “Never Go Full Retard”. This lot are way beyond that.
