A U.S. congressman on Saturday posted a Christmas picture of himself and what appeared to be his family, smiling and posing with an assortment of guns, just days after four teenagers were killed in a shooting at a Michigan high school.
“Merry Christmas! ps. Santa, please bring ammo,” U.S. Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky wrote on Twitter.
The article goes on to state the following:
Ethan Crumbley, 15, on Tuesday carried out the deadliest U.S. school shooting this year, the latest in a decades-long series of mass shootings at U.S. schools. His parents were arrested on Saturday in connection with the slayings.
Massie posted a photo with his family posing with firearms resembling an M60 machine gun, AR-15 semi-automatic rifle and a Thompson submachine gun, the report notes.

Democratic U.S. Representative John Yarmuth tweeted with disdain over the photo and wrote, “I promise not everyone in Kentucky is an insensitive asshole.”
“I’m old enough to remember Republicans screaming that it was insensitive to try to protect people from gun violence after a tragedy,” Yarmuth wrote in a separate tweet. “Now they openly rub the murder of children in our faces like they scored a touchdown. Disgraceful.”

“Since we are sharing family photos, here are mine. One is the last photo that I ever took of Jaime, the other is where she is buried because of the Parkland school shooting,” Fred Guttenberg tweeted. “The Michigan school shooter and his family used to take photos like yours as well.”

“Wow, this week that is exceptionally heartless. Mindless. Just devoid of any soul,” one user replied to Massie. “Do the “Keep Christ in Christmas” folk see Jesus here?”

Last week, 4 beautiful young kids had no idea that they were celebrating their last Thanksgiving with their families.
My question for you is: What part of your family picture is “ Merry” & has anything to do with Christmas & birth of the original, anti violence man on earth?

Those objecting to this photo have mental problems. Yes, the Michigan shooting was a travesty, but it also proved just how inept that school system is…they knew the boy had mental problems but waited too late to tell the parents he needed mental help and they let him go back to class without checking his back pack. The country and individuals cannot and should not put their lives on hold every time a tragic shooting occurs.
What did this have to do with that.
That’s like saying it’s awful to post a picture of a truck after the parade incident.
I was thinking the same..I suppose if the kid had used a knife and killed several people, there would have been outrage if the congressman had posted a picture of himself carving a turkey.
I thought the same thing. No one take any pictures of SUVs.
so what my problem is with the liberal School district who knew a kid had mental health issues and instead of handling it correctly they allowed him back into school
So because some looney family are evil the rest of the world stops ???? Seriously, those who are unable to differentiate the two need to stay in bed under the covers !
LETS GO BRANDON
This has absolutely nothing to do with the school shootings. The hate gonna hate🤬
Not a thing with this photo. It’s the minds of those complaining.
Anything to shove thier agenda foward and blame others i agree it makes as much sense as being outraged by Budweiser because of a car crash due to a drunken driver
Demonrats can suck my dck then die.
Its not insensitive.. stop it. People have to go on with their lives.
Those that choose to disagree with what is being posted are always present!
What an idiots I think the picture is a marvel it’s shows that every thing start at home the trash who shot the kids has trashy parents, the pictures shows Disciplined and respect for the weapon different family bring up totally different kids.
And to the idiots who do not like the pictures I ask WHERE IS YOUR KIDS now?
These whiny people just have their own agenda to push.
