New Hampshire state legislators switched their 2024 presidential endorsements from Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) to former President Donald Trump, citing the governor’s technological problems launching his campaign as the reason for the decision.

DeSantis announced his long-anticipated campaign for the White House on Wednesday using Twitter Spaces, but the stream was met with glitches and other technological problems.

Republican state Rep. Sandra Panek said in a statement on Thursday that she would be switching her endorsement to Trump because DeSantis was unable to “properly run” his campaign launch on Twitter.

In a statement, Panek explained, “After being less than impressed with Ron DeSantis’s official announcement last night, I am hereby switching my endorsement to President Donald J. Trump. We can’t expect someone to run the country if they can’t properly run their own campaign launch.”

“The stakes are simply too great in 2024 to take a chance on someone as unreliable as DeSantis — we need a proven winner like President Trump to take back the White House and Make America Great Again,” Panek added.

Panek also shared the results of a poll, showing 70% of those who took the poll want Trump as the GOP nominee.

“Trump will be known as our Peace President if you just give peace a chance,” Panek wrote in another Twitter post.

Another Republican state lawmaker in New Hampshire, Rep. Juliet Harvey-Bolia, also confirmed she is now backing Trump, tweeting, “I’m proud to announce my full endorsement for President Trump, and only Trump. He’ll keep us out of war and prosperous as he has in the past. Ron DeSantis will make a great candidate in 2028. I expect Republicans will unite behind President Trump.”

  1. I don’t feel DeSantis is ready to deal with the rhino’s and hard hitting, lying democrats. Trump can. He has made mistake on the first run with them but nothing major. I feel Trump is more prepared. I would of loved a Trump DeSantis ticket.

    • Gee, you think it might have something to do with the Media, DOJ, FBI and CIA trying to frame him for a crime? He got a lot done in spite of those efforts. DeSantis made his choice. He sided with the corrupt donors over the GOP voter. The last poll I saw shows DeSantis at 19% and Trump at 70%. I think it’s safe to say the GOP voter base has this one figured out. Give the man a chance….a chance to do what? You think he’s going to take these people on? They own him.
