Arizona Republican Kari Lake sported a custom t-shirt depicting Andrew Breitbart’s face with the word “WAR” after former President Donald Trump announced he was indicted on Thursday.
Lake wore the shirt in Columbus, Georgia, ahead of the Georgia Republican Party’s state convention on Friday and Saturday, where Trump is expected to deliver remarks. When Breitbart News reached her for comment about the garment bearing its founder, Lake provided a statement on Trump’s indictment and said the shirt she designed “speaks for itself.”
“In indicting President Trump, Joe Biden and his corrupt DOJ have committed an all-out assault on the rule of law,” Lake said.

Lake is also blasting the indictment against Trump on social media. In one post, she shared a photo collage show Trump in the media spotlight, while images of Joe Biden and Hunter Biden are seen in the shadows.

In a statement, Lake said, “By indicting their chief political opponent, Joe Biden and Merrick Garland have just committed the most blatant act of election interference in our nation’s history. This type of political persecution goes against everything our nation was founded on and if we allow the Biden administration to get away with it, we will lose this country.”
“We will not cave to this deliberate attempt to interfere in the 2024 election. The Republican Party must unite to save our country from this historic corruption and work to return President Donald J. Trump to the White House in 2024,” Lake added.
