A Missouri official is asking the state Supreme Court to suspend the law licenses of the St. Louis couple who waved their guns at racial justice protesters in June 2020.

Missouri Chief Disciplinary Counsel Alan Pratzel, in a court filing, pointed to the McCloskeys’ guilty pleas to misdemeanors connected to last year’s incident in his argument to suspend their law licenses, according to KCUR-FM.

The article goes on to state the following:

Mark and Patricia McCloskey pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges that stemmed from the June 2020 incident. Mark McCloskey — who is running for U.S. Senate — pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault and was ordered to pay a $750 fine, and Patricia McCloskey pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment and was subject to a $2,000 fine.

The couple, both lawyers, made headlines last year when a group of Black Lives Matter protesters broke through a gate and marked through the streets of the private community.

Feeling threatened, the McCloskeys stood outside their home with their guns, but never fired at anyone.

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) pardoned the couple last month for the incident.

On his Twitter account, McCloskey frequently speaks out on various issues, including the Biden administration.

Last week, he tweeted, “The Left can attack me all they want; Missourians like myself are used to being demonized for having our principled conservative values.”

In another tweet, he quipped, “If the Left wants to terminate a pregnancy at eight months, can we please terminate a presidency?”

  1. Maybe they should have just shot the people with camera’s. Just more liberal bullying. Maybe we should just permanently disbar the soros bought and paid for prosecutor.

  2. This is absurd. People can’t even defend themselves when they feel threatened by a mob of people who were acting wild, destroying property, making threats, and who didn’t belong there in the first place. Those protesters were not being peaceful.

  3. typical left bull shit. don’t defend your life and your property that YOU work for let the soros paid criminals do as they please and you get charged not them. look at how they tore down the gate but that must not be considered breaking and entering or criminal trespass he’ll they had weapons but that’s ok they’re criminals. arrest the prosecutor for wasting taxpayers money and time the pos

  4. Well just like the Obama’s they lost her license to practice law both of them for a felony charge they both played guilty to misdemeanors I do not believe a misdemeanor you have to give up your law license I believe they did the right thing they protected themselves in their home they have a right to by Missouri law he runs for Senate I would vote for him….

  5. I cannot believe they pled GUILTY for “defending” themselves! Btw, what happened to the terrorist that broke into that ‘gated’ community to terrorize others while in their own homes? I’ll bet not person was arrested. Shameful.
