REPORT: Musk’s countersuit against Twitter says he and Wall Street were misled

The two sides will battle it out in a Delaware court in October. Musk wants to legally pull out from the deal while Twitter wants to push forward with the sale to Musk.

According to the Associated Press, Twitter replied in a filing on Thursday in Delaware Chancery Court, “The Counterclaims are a made-for-litigation tale that is contradicted by the evidence and common sense. Musk invents representations Twitter never made and then tries to wield, selectively, the extensive confidential data Twitter provided him to conjure a breach of those purported representations.”

I can personally attest to the suspicious addition of “new” twitter followers from “Asia” which flooded my account the moment Musk’s purchase was announced.
