Sen. Kyrsten Sinema was the only Democrat absent from Vice President Kamala Harris’s bipartisan dinner for women of the Senate.

The dinner at the Naval Observatory residence in Washington, D.C., invited all 24 female senators. Sinema, however, was the only Democrat to skip the event, while Republican Sens. Cindy Hyde-Smith and Cynthia Lummis did not attend on the GOP side. In all, 15 Democrats and 6 Republican senators were present at the dinner.

The article goes on to state the following:

None of the three senators who skipped the dinner offered comment on their absence, but Hyde-Smith and Lummis have both been vocal opponents of the Biden administration. Sinema was back in Arizona at a Senate Banking Committee hearing on infrastructure needs, though the centrist Democrat had also just suffered a broken foot while running a marathon over the weekend.

Multiple photos were posted on social media of the event.

Sen. Debbie Stabenow tweeted, “What a wonderful bipartisan women Senators dinner at our @VP’s residence! Thank you Kamala! I am so proud of you!”

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) tweeted, “Had a great time with my fellow female senators this evening! Thanks for hosting us, @VP. Cheers!”

Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) tweeted, “Nothing but smiles when the first woman Vice President invites a bipartisan group of women Senators over for dinner. Thank you for having us, @VP Harris!”

“I’ve been working with Kamala Harris ever since we served as our states’ Attorneys General. It was so nice to have her welcome us to the @VP’s residence last night. There was a lot of joy around the table at our bipartisan women Senators’ dinner,” wrote Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV).

Meanwhile, Dr. Benjamin Braddock observed, “Kamala Harris’ husband went from complaining about seeing people not wearing masks outdoors to hosting super spreader dinner parties in the span of like two weeks.”

  1. This makes me sick. Just “business as usual” in the swamp. They spout their rhetoric all day and it’s nothing but hugs and smiles at night. Bunch of unprincipled fakers and liars. No patriot should have any desire to break bread with traitors and demons. Period.

  2. Can’t stand Stabmenow she’s a senator from my district unfortunately heavy democrat area has her head up Schumer’s ass 24/7!

  3. Who the hell cares about her stupid dinner party? I wouldn’t go if you paid me! Tells you who the RINO’S are, doesn’t it??? I would NOT want to be in the company of ANY Dems/libs/RINO’S and even SOME Repubs! And all that on the taxpayers dollar! Ugh!

  4. Can’t make it to the border but can entertain with taxpayers money. Yum cheese puffs. At least she can do something

  5. Well well I am happy that some did not attend.Kamala is a terrible person just like stupid Biden.Kamala needs to forget the party and instead visit the borders and keep all the illegals out.kamala is a terrible Camela and she needs to stop laughing all the time when she is asked a question.

  6. Good for Hyde-Smith & Lummis for not attending. And whoever on twitter made the comment on twitter Shroff who ever you are,you need to learn the meaning of class. Sleeping with married men to get to the top is NOT IT.

  7. MTMOMMA: Marsha Blackburn was on Fox the other night. She said this has been a tradition of both the Republican & Democrat senators for a number of years. Political differences aside. Senator Blackburn acknowledge she and Harris are definitely not “fans” of one another.

  8. A collection of clowns. Who cares!!?? Get rid of these idiots and replace them with cardboard cutouts. You don’t have to pay them and they don’t do anything either. Win/win.

  9. See just 1 big club and we aren’t in it. What they, (rino’s) say in public and what they’re really about in private.

  10. I just noticed in one of the photos. Is her butler a POC? I know everyone has to work but doesn’t that seem a little hypocritical of her. I know I’m being a smart Alec but I really don’t like this woman at all 🤮🤮🤢🤢

  11. I see Marsha Blackburn was in attendance. Any self worth republican Senator wouldn’t have attended. I don’t see Marsha being re-elected. Enjoy your first and last term Marsha. We don’t forget who goes against the people who voted them in & they sure haven’t forgotten you voting to certify biden after swearing up and down you wouldn’t because of a riot organized by democrats. Even if President Trump endorses you I will campaign for any republican running against you.

  12. Huh, making cream puffs. Arn’t you suppose to be working for the American people and visiting the border. What a big fat waste of money and time!
