Texas authorities say a precinct chief was among over a dozen people arrested in an undercover prostitution sting operation.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said its Organized Crime Unit, in cooperation with Human Trafficking Rescue Alliance (HTRA), conducted the sting operation Wednesday evening at a local hotel.

The sheriff’s office said 14 suspects in total were arrested for solicitation of prostitution. Among those was Brian Harris of the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office.

“We hold our deputies to the highest standard,” Precinct 5 Constable Ted Heap told FOX 26.

He said Harris’ termination is “effective immediately.”

Solicitation of prostitution is a state jail felony, the sheriff’s office said.

  1. Sex work should be decriminalized. What two consenting adults do amongst themselves is nobodies business. Adam Levine would have been a whole lot smarter hiring hookers opposed to sliding into Instagram DM’s. Had he, he wouldn’t be front page news two days ago. Hookers understand they show up to perform, paid to leave and stay out of your personal life. Best no strings attached money can buy

    • Very true. The oldest profession on earth should still be that..a profession with health license screenings. Everyone has needs and sometimes don’t have time or desire for a “relationship.”

  2. Why oh why destroy a life and a family just because he was paying for sex, heck if I’m taking the wife to a movie and dinner I’m paying for sex in a way
