California Rep. Eric Swalwell, whose contacts with a Chinese spy were revealed this week, spoke at a same event in 2013 as another alleged Chinese agent who worked for decades for California Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

The event was hosted by the group led by Christine Fang, a Chinese national whose relationship with Swalwell was the subject of a report published this week by Axios. There is no indication of wrongdoing on Swalwell’s part.

The article goes on to state the following:

The California State University, East Bay Chinese Student Association hosted both Swalwell and Russell Lowe, who then worked for Feinstein, at an event to commemorate the Chinese Lunar New Year on Feb. 9, 2013, according to the group’s Facebook page.

Swalwell shared photos from the event on his Twitter account. One photo shows Fang in a red dress standing beside him.

Another photo is circulating on social media, which was posted on the East Bay Chinese Student Association Facebook page on Sept. 22, 2011, reportedly showing both Lowe and Fang appearing in a photo together.  Fang came to the United States in 2011, posing as a student.

Trump campaign advisor Jason Miller tweeted a link to the report.

Swalwell lashed out against Miller, tweeting, “Just a reminder: pay your child support @JasonMillerinDC. Kids shouldn’t go hungry because Dad is a deadbeat. Feed them for the holidays.”

Washington Examiner reporter Jerry Dunleavy picked up on Swalwell’s outburst, and tweeted, “This is House Intelligence Committee member Eric Swalwell’s response to an article stating that he spoke at an event that was organized in part by suspected CCP spy Fang Fang aka Christine Fang and at which the suspected Chinese spy who worked in Feinstein’s office also spoke.”

Zach Dorfman, who broke the story in 2018 about Russell Lowe, an alleged Chinese agent working for Sen. Dianne Feinstein in a Politico report, was also a co-author on the Axios report this week about Christine Fang.

  1. I said it before I’ll say it again those who live in Glass houses should not throw stones he was so quick to criticize everybody else but when the criticism comes back there’s a special name for this KARMA it will bite you in the ass every time

  2. California State University Hayward was once rated the second best value in a college education in the country — second only to Cooper-Union. It had fine professors from across the political spectrum — including Malcolm Smith, James Nichols, Charles Merrifield, Gene Posner, and Theodore Roszak, to name a few. Then it changed its name to California State University East Bay and thoroughly embraced “progressive” identity and grievance politics. It began hiring only “woke” faculty. Its students flock to feminazi quilting parties, and its alumni attend people-of-color-only get-togethers. Sad!
