Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) criticized a “Humans of the CIA” video recently released by the agency, writing late Monday: “We’ve come a long way from Jason Bourne.”

In the video, a first-generation Latina American CIA agent discusses her “intersectional” identity.

The article goes on to state the following:

“I am a woman of color. I am a mom. I am a cisgender millennial who’s been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. I am intersectional, but my existence is not a box-checking exercise,” the CIA agent says.

“If you’re a Chinese communist, or an Iranian Mullah, or Kim Jong Un…would this scare you? We’ve come a long way from Jason Bourne,” Cruz tweeted in response.

Cruz was referring to a fictional CIA agent featured in a series of novels by Robert Ludlum which were later adapted into movies.

  1. She is very “unapologetically me!”

No mention of being an American or wanting to serve her country.

If this is what being a “millennial” I can hardly wait for the “post-millennial” period of American history.

  2. Hopefully, post-millennials will rail against the millennial’s ideology.

At some point, there will be resistance to the craziness.

  3. Over 99% of all illegals and guarantee that she is illegal How do I know Be side she has a job she should not be having like Omar and Talib . None of these people are here to be Americans
Americans had better get their heads out of the wrong end . This kind of nut is in a position that has dire consequences for Americans in her path

  4. So now we are going to employ people with mental disorders? She states she is everything but American. I bet Putin, Xi, and all the terrorist leaders were laughing so hard they probably wet their pants! We’re going to see a major increase in push back, hostility and I’m going to be surprised when there’s another attack in America because of not only ads like this but the actions, attitudes and media coverage of lack of national security interest by the agencies involved or supposed to be involved in keeping our country safe.
Anyone remember the movie Red Dawn?

  5. CIA. Cissys In Action.
I believe you are male or female and making up a bunch of hybrid sci-fi names is solely being done to hurt our country. If you want to be an alien then play Star Wars in your basement and don’t drag our country down.
