President Trump’s campaign manager told Senate Republicans that Minnesota and New Mexico, two states won by Hillary Clinton in 2016, will be in play this year.

Showcasing voter data and cost estimates, Trump campaign chief Brad Parscale told Republicans during a Washington meeting at the headquarters of the GOP Senate campaign arm, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, that the electoral map is set to expand further into blue territory than it did in 2016.

“They’ve been working hard,” Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) said, according to Politico. “Whereas last time was kind of spontaneous, this time has been fully prepared.

“They’ve got states, the pathway to victory that we all know they have, and they may be expanding the field some,” Cassidy said.
