President Trump’s attorney on Monday said the president and his legal team were “disappointed” that Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger “secretly recorded and released” what he described as a “confidential settlement discussion” about the Georgia election results.

The attorney’s comments come after audio of Trump’s Saturday phone call with Raffensperger was obtained by The Washington Post, and published in full, in which the president urged the secretary of state to “find” enough votes to reverse the state’s election results.

The article goes on to state the following:

“We are disappointed that the secretary of state and his staff secretly recorded and released a confidential settlement discussion to settle the two pending lawsuits,” Trump attorney Kurt Hilbert said Monday.

“While they may think that behavior is appropriate, we do not,” Hilbert added. “Consequently, we will not be commenting on settlement discussions.”

“All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state,” Trump said during the call, sparking backlash.

The president also slammed the Georgia Secretary of State on Twitter Sunday  for not having answers when questioned about “the “ballots under table” scam, ballot destruction, out of state “voters”, dead voters, and more.”

Trump added, “He has no clue!”

Raffensperger responded to the president in a Sunday morning tweet.

“Respectfully, President Trump: What you’re saying is not true. The truth will come out,” he tweeted.

  1. Sounds to me like this guy is a RINO troublemaker. He certainly has done nothing for the Republicans in Georgia. We have way to many like him in this country.

  2. Utterly disgusting and yet another example of the total disrespect of the office of the President of the United States by Raffensperger and others aligned with this unlawful taping of phone conference call conversations up through and including the highest office if our government. SHAME ON RAFFENSPERHER AND ALL WHO KNEW OF THIS!!!! Again, my President has heeded warning to them that in their knowing of this fraudulent election and their standing by to allow this to procced. The President has given them yet another opportunity to say that indeed there was a mistake. They won t and back down in taking their opportunity. Well, the gavel will fall accordingly.

  3. I was beginning to wonder if anyone was going to say anything about the call being ILLEGALLY recorded and released. That chickenshit raffensperger should be prosecuted and jailed, then executed as a miserable f#cking traitor!

  4. Hmmm. We need access to the Ga. governor’s and the Ga. secretary of state’s bank records the past 4 years. Maybe their children’s and siblings, parents as well.

We all know there was voter fraud in Ga. For these two to be ignoring it, and not looking at the data analysis, not interrogating Ruby & her daughter; for not interrogating the stadium’s employees who “became” election officials; for not interrogating the owner /manager who offered the stadium and some of its employees to become election officials (at the stadium’s expense) – for these and many more inactions – look at the Ga governor and secretary of state and their associates bank records, etc. There’s someone who’ll spill the beans.

  5. President Trump is showing us the rhinos and the rhinos are committing political suicide as well as helping the Democrats force a civil war

  6. When voter fraud is proven without a shadow of a doubt go after the Republicans and the Democrats that allowed it go after them for treason Andrew’s the full weight of the Constitution of the United States against them

  7. Disgusting and disgraceful that anyone in power, especially those WE ELECTED, treat the President of the United States in such a fashion. Isn’t it illegal to wiretap/record a phone conversation without permission? Why NOT look carefully at all the evidence presented? Like I’ve said before: once Voter Integrity is not defended vigorously, nobody’s vote counts. Nobody’s.

  8. Raffensperger broke federal law! It is illegal to record telephone conversations across state lines without expressed consent. Secretary of State and his attorney should immediately be arrested.
