A staffer for President Trump’s campaign on Friday tweeted a photo of what she called an “improved” Mt. Rushmore — with the commander in chief’s image added to the national landmark in South Dakota.

“Mt Rushmore, improved,” read the caption accompanying the post, which was tweeted out Friday morning by Abigail Marone, a member of the campaign’s 2020 rapid response team, according to her Twitter bio.

The article goes on to state the following:

The tweet came hours before the president and first lady Melania Trump were scheduled to leave Washington to visit the monument — which features huge sculpted images of presidents Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington — and view a pre-July 4 fireworks display.
