Former President Donald Trump will resume holding his signature rallies next month, The Post has confirmed.
Dates and locations have not yet been announced, but a source said the president’s team is in the process of selecting venues for a pair of events in June. A third rally is expected to take place around the July 4 holiday.
The article goes on to state the following:
The former president has not said whether he intends to seek the office he lost last year, but has repeatedly teased the possibility. Last week, he told The Daily Wire that he was “enthused” about the possibility of a 2024 run.
Trump has not held a rally since the one in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6.
In his interview with Daily Wire host Candace Owens last week, when asked about a potential run in 2024, Trump said, “I look forward to doing an announcement at the right time. As you know, it’s very early. But I think people are going to be very, very happy when I make a certain announcement.”
Meanwhile, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy.), who was ousted from her role as House Republican Conference chair on Wednesday, vowed that she will make sure Trump never gets anywhere near the Oval Office again.
In an interview with NBC “Today” host Savannah Guthrie, Cheney said she will do “whatever it takes” to keep Trump from being elected again, and would not rule out running for president herself.
