This list is based off of the current assets and net worth of the wealthiest Democrats in Congress; the top six to be exact. The numbers of these assets are based on November 2022 findings.

6) Representative Nancy Pelosi, estimated net worth: $46.1 million. While Nancy Pelosi’s estimated net worth is approximately $50 million, the assets the California representative holds jointly with her husband Paul Pelosi consist of a Napa Valley property and a shared Wells Fargo checking account holding less than $15,000. However, the majority of her wealth is legally owned by her husband and is diversified across stocks in companies such as Disney, Tesla, Netflix, and Salesforce.

Despite not achieving everything the House Democrats wanted, the $737 billion act will focus on slowing climate change, lower health care costs and creating clean energy jobs by enacting a 15% corporate minimum tax, a 1% fee on stock buybacks and enhancing IRS enforcement. 5) Representative Suzan DelBene, estimated net worth: $52.2 million. Before entering politics, Suzan DelBene enjoyed a lengthy and prosperous business career, which included holding an executive position at Microsoft. The wealth of the Washington representative is diversified among various investments, including real estate, Microsoft stock, and mutual funds.

4) Representative Doris Matsui, estimated net worth: $73.9 million. Doris Matsui primarily derives her wealth from her husband, Roger Sant, who is the founder of AES Corp., a Fortune 500 holding company. Assets that are registered under the name of the California representative are largely allocated among trusts and exchange-traded funds.

3) Senator Richard Blumenthal, estimated net worth: $85.2 million. Richard Blumenthal acquired his wealth through his marriage. His wife, Cynthia Malkin, is the daughter of Peter Malkin, a prominent Manhattan real estate magnate. The majority of the Connecticut senator’s net worth is closely linked to Cynthia Malkin’s assets, which encompass real estate holdings, hedge funds, and stocks.

If confirmed, Barrett would replace the late Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. (Photo by Leah Millis-Pool/Getty Images)

2) Senator Mark Warner, estimated net worth: $93.5 million. A significant portion of Mark Warner’s wealth stems from his previous involvement in the private sector. Prior to his political career, the Virginia senator served as the head of Columbia Capital, a venture capital firm. Additionally, Warner founded Capital Cellular Corp., which played a role as an early investor in Nextel, a wireless service operator.

1)- Dianne Feinstein, estimated net worth: $99.5 million. Dianne Feinstein, the wife of Richard Blum, the founder of Blum Capital, holds the distinction of being the wealthiest Democrat in Congress. While a significant portion of the California senator’s wealth can be attributed to her late husband’s business ventures, she also has at least $25 million held in a blind trust. One of Feinstein’s notable assets is her stake in Carlton Hotel Properties Inc., which stands as one of her largest holdings.
