Former President Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump each paid tribute to Independence Day on social media Monday, with photos and video footage of their time in the White House that appeared to have a cryptic meaning.

Melania Trump shared a photo taken of herself and the former president during their last Independence Day celebration in the White House, in 2020. In the photo, they were watching a U.S. military aircraft flyover while hosting the July 4th “2020 Salute to America” celebration.

“Our American Dream is built on the principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as expressed in the Declaration of Independence. Together, on this historic day, let’s salute the brave men & women who have fought to establish and preserve our freedom.🇺🇸,” she wrote.

On his Truth Social account, Trump shared an edited video that included various scenes of events he had attended, along with audio from his July 4, 2020 speech at Mount Rushmore.

“My fellow citizens, America’s destiny is in our sights. America’s heroes are embedded in our hearts. America’s future is in our hands. And ladies and gentlemen, the best is yet to come.”

Posts on Truth Social cannot be embedded into news articles outside of the platform, but another supporter shared the same video on Twitter. Watch below:

The voiceover in the video was taken from the following clip:

On Sunday, July 3, Trump’s longtime aide, Dan Scavino, also posted an edited video which included footage of the massive crowd at one of Trump’s 2020 campaign rallies.  The voiceover was a segment from Trump’s 2017 Commencement Speech at Liberty University.

In the video, Trump says: “The more people tell you it’s not possible, that it can’t be done, the more you should be absolutely determined to prove them wrong. Treat the word ‘impossible’ as nothing more than motivation.”

“Relish the opportunity to be an outsider. Embrace that label — being an outsider is fine, embrace the label — because it’s the outsiders who change the world and who make a real and lasting difference.”

Donald Trump Jr. posted a simple message Monday morning: “Happy Birthday America!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸.”

Eric Trump also posted a July 4th message, sharing a photo of the Trump Tower Chicago building.

“On behalf of our entire family, and all of us at The Trump Organization, happy 4th of July friends! We live in the greatest country on earth! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸,” he wrote.

  1. I miss our beloved President and First Lady, Donald and Melanie Trump. We had class in the White House, gas under $2 a gallon, a booming economy, no inflation, a strong Military, respect in the world, crime was low, police were respected, Demoncrats were hysterical, and we didn’t live under the threat of WWlll, with N Korea and Iran creating nuclear weapons. But the evil Demoncrats had to go and screw up and steal the election, because they hated him so much ! GOD bless America and save US !

  2. Happy Independence Day to everyone and Especially to our Amazing Trump family! Best President in my lifetime!
Happy Independence Day DML and family.
