After CNBC’s Jim Cramer slammed Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell Friday morning, President Trump weighed in with his own blistering criticism of the Fed chief he appointed as well.

Cramer argued that Powell was WRONG to raise the interest rates so aggressively, and said he should admit his mistake and change course now.

“Why can’t the Fed chief say, ‘You know what? I was wrong.’ It turns out there’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity … to be able to make it so the Chinese have to play fair. Look, sometimes what you have to do is you say you’re wrong. I have said, for instance, I’m wrong on certain stocks,” Cramer said, according to CNBC.

President Trump, who has been increasingly critical of Powell and also insisted he should keep the rates lower, blasted out the following Twitter post following Cramer’s remarks:

I agree with @jimcramer, the Fed should lower rates. They were WAY too early to raise, and Way too late to cut – and big dose quantitative tightening didn’t exactly help either. Where did I find this guy Jerome? Oh well, you can’t win them all!
