President Trump is celebrating his 73rd birthday on Friday, but he tweeted a Happy Birthday message to another group whose birthday is on the same date – the U.S. Army, which was founded 244 years ago, on June 14, 1775.

Trump tweeted: HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our GREAT @USArmy. America loves you!

Polls on the 2020 presidential election are showing that former vice president Joe Biden is ahead of President Trump, but the president has consistently reminded that the polls also predicted Hillary Clinton would win in 2016.

Friday, he tweeted the latest from Rasmussen Reports, which shows that he has a 51 percent approval rating.

Trump then tweeted a video with clips of polls during the 2016 presidential campaign season showing Hillary Clinton with higher numbers. Audio included with the poll graphics includes President Trump’s speech from a rally, in which he said, “The fake media tried to stop us, but I’m president and they’re not.” The video triumphantly concludes with scenes from Trump’s victory on election night.

President Trump also tweeted an article announcing a new way for millions of American workers to obtain health insurance, through the expansion of Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs). “Starting on January 1, 2020, employers will be able to offer their workers HRAs to buy individual market coverage for themselves and their families,” the report states.

Trump tweeted: Announcing great, expanded HRAs—big win for small employers and workers. This is a fantastic plan! My Administration has worked very hard on creating more affordable health coverage.

President Trump thanked Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn (TN), who blocked an effort by Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) to pass a bill via unanimous consent requiring campaigns to report any offers of foreign assistance to the FBI. The bill was in response to President Trump’s controversial remarks in an ABC News interview, in which he said he would listen if a foreign entity came to him with “opposition research.”

Trump tweeted: Thank you Senator @MarshaBlackburn for fighting obstructionist Democrats led by Cryin’ Chuck Schumer. Democrats continue to look for a do-over on the Mueller Report and will stop at nothing to distract the American people from the great accomplishments of this Administration!

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell also downplayed Trump’s remarks that stirred up so much controversy, and reportedly told Democrats that when it comes to Russian interference, “the case is closed.”

Trump thanked McConnell, tweeting: Thank you @senatemajldr Mitch McConnell for understanding the Democrats game of not playing it straight on the ridiculous Witch Hunt Hoax in the Senate. Cryin’ Chuck will never stop. Did Senator @MarkWarner ever report speaking to a Russian!?

Trump also re-tweeted the following post from Republican congressman Mark Meadows:

This week President Trump was able to do something no one else could: get the left to care about foreign intel in our elections. You’d think Democrats paying for oppo research from Russians, then funneling it to DOJ to open an investigation, would’ve done the trick. Guess not.

President Trump announced Friday afternoon he had just spoken with Lockheed Martin CEO Marilyn Hewson about keeping a plant open in Pennsylvania:

Just spoke to Marillyn Hewson, CEO of @LockheedMartin, about continuing operations for the @Sikorsky in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. She will be taking it under advisement and will be making a decision soon. While Pennsylvania is BOOMING, I don’t want there to be even a little glitch in Coatesville – every job counts. I want Lockhead to BOOM along with it!
