President Trump ripped into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in a late-night Twitter post on Monday, over the extra “pork” she has requested be included in a coronavirus stimulus package.

Pelosi released her own 1,400-page proposal on Monday night, packed with a long list of demands, including many non-coronavirus-related proposals, including bringing back the “Obamaphone” program. Fox News listed some of the demands:

The bill proposed by Pelosi, D-Calif., additionally seeks to eliminate debt held by the U.S. Postal Service, require same-day voter registration, pay off $10,000 in student debt per person, mandate that airlines reduce their overall carbon emissions by 50 percent by 2050, and force federal agencies to explain to Congress how they are increasing their usage of “minority banks.”

And, the legislation would provide for the automatic extension of nonimmigrant visas and restrict colleges from providing information about citizenship status. It would also allocate $35 million to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

President Trump blasted Pelosi’s plan, tweeting, “Republicans had a deal until Nancy Pelosi rode into town from her extended vacation. The Democrats want the Virus to win? They are asking for things that have nothing to do with our great workers or companies. They want Open Borders & Green New Deal. Republicans shouldn’t agree!”

Late Monday night, President Trump also responded to a National Review report which listed some of the extra demands Democrats are insisting be included in a stimulus bill intended to give economic relief to the American people and businesses amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has crushed the nation’s economy.

On the Democrats’ wish-list are the following demands, not related to the coronavirus pandemic:

1) Unprecedented collective bargaining powers for unions
2) Increased fuel emissions standards for airlines
3) Expansion of wind and solar tax credits

“This will never be approved by me, or any other Republican!” Trump declared.

Tuesday morning, Trump added additional tweets on the subject. He wrote:

This is not about the ridiculous Green New Deal. It is about putting our great workers and companies BACK TO WORK!

Congress must approve the deal, without all of the nonsense, today. The longer it takes, the harder it will be to start up our economy. Our workers will be hurt!
