President Donald J. Trump took questions from reporters on Friday alongside Australia’s prime minister Scott Morrison.

On Saturday, he tweeted two clips from the meeting.

In one, he blasts the media for being “wrong on so many things,” and called the U.S. media “a joke” abroad.

In another, he specifically calls the media out for their coverage of the “whistleblower” accusations.

Trump encouraged reporters to continue to ask questions and “to keep playing it up”, saying that in the end they’d have a big “downfall” when all the details were known.

Trump called the conversation he had with the Ukraine president, which is at the center of the reports, “totally appropriate.”
