Judge Bruce Schroeder retired the jury for the evening around 5:50 p.m. CT after the first day of deliberations in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse.

The 18 jurors who have been hearing the case reported to the court house at 9:00 a.m. Rittenhouse then drew slips of paper out of a raffle drum to determine the six alternates.

The article goes on to state the following:

The 12 remaining jurors, seven women and five men, deliberated all day aside from a lunch break around noon.

The jurors are expected to return to the court house Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. CT.

After beginning their deliberations at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday morning, the jurors requested copies of pages 1 through 6 of the jury instructions in the morning.

The Washington Examiner explained: Page 4 of the jury instructions focuses on crimes requiring the intent to kill. Pages 5 and 6 focus on the first count of first-degree reckless homicide for the fatal shooting of Joseph Rosenbaum.

Later Tuesday afternoon, they requested copies of the remainder of the 36 pages of instructions.

Jack Posobiec, editor of Human Events, shared the following on Twitter:

Two jurors holding decision up, outright citing backlash, per US Marshal in Kenosha.

More: Worried about media leaking their names, what will happen to their families, jobs, etc.  Including doxxing threats from ‘anarchist groups.’

  1. So political because of the media and rioters threatening it all. This kid needs a fair trial, not convicted because of jurist’s fears!

  2. So cowards are more concerned about their own skin than they are the truth. They would rather an innocent kid go to prison for life so that they don’t have to deal with mean people. This culture is not worth preserving.

  3. This is getting sickening. The Judge should have sequestered the Jury. The media and radicals have turn this into mob rule and a popularity contest instead of Justice. Based on the actual facts and admissions, Kyle should be acquitted. If not, justice in America is completely dead!

  4. The fact that this even went to trial is rediculous. It should have been 5 minutes, innocent on all charges. If not, we are no longer the United States of America.

  5. Kyle is innocent period. This case has nothing to do with race, but it does have to do with the media and the left making him sound like a cold blooded murderer. Just terrible and disgusting and these liars and rioters need to be half off to jail. Clear the courthouse outside and hold the media responsible for there lies and evil nonsense and intimidation to the public! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

  6. They should have moved this to a different state. Nobody innocent should go to jail. If anyone doesn’t see that this boy is innocent they are so in denial. I hope the jurors do the right thing and if there worried about there families they should never serve. Also they should have protection or like I said move it to another state. I pray they do the right thing.

  7. There’s going to be at least one juror holding out for guilty on some charge and they will be hung on that one charge. I think there is their fear of reprisal if he is found not guilty on all counts. Juror wants to be let off the hook of responsibility and leave it to another jury to decide.

  8. For all of his years of service, the judge has not handled this case correctly in my opinion. The jury should have been sequestered and their identities hidden at all times.

The prosecuting attorney should have been held in contempt of court for introducing evidence and information that the judge said was not admissible or mentionable.

The judge did not explain his instructions to the jury in a precice manner. His 36 pages of instructions was too long. And the fact that they had to ask for copies of pages for review for clarity, confirms this.

I have been a juror a few times And I can tell you from experience that most ppl do not understand the law or how to apply it. They are basically ignorant of the law. And I would never ask to be judged by a jury. If you are innocent, get yourself a dam good lawyer and make sure he/she has all the facts straight. Review and discuss everything. It’s your life and money on the line.

  9. This case has been screwed from the start. The media had already tarred and feathered him. Now these jurors are being intimidated. What a joke. This is not justice in action. Not to mention the prosecutor is a rabid dog our foe blood and he should never have brought charges in the first place. We need more Kyle Rittenhouses in this country. If these criminal thugs were afraid of everyday Americans they wouldn’t be be burning and looting our cities every time they want to throw a fit.

  10. I fear this jury will decide their decision on their personal fears rather than the facts of the case; I pray they render the right and fear verdict for Rittenhouse
