The Manhattan grand jury wrapped its proceedings Monday afternoon with no vote in former President Trump’s case, two sources told Fox News.

The secret grand jury reconvened Monday in New York City after its proceedings related to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s investigation into Trump were canceled twice last week.

Two sources told Fox News on Monday afternoon that the grand jury heard from one witness, David Pecker. Pecker, who has previously testified before the grand jury as part of this case, served as president of National Enquirer’s parent company, American Media Inc.

Pecker, the former publisher of The National Enquirer, had also testified before the grand jury in January.

Bragg is pursuing potential charges against Trump over an alleged “hush money” payment his former attorney, Michael Cohen, gave to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Federal prosecutors opted against charging Trump over the matter in 2019, and the Federal Election Commission had also tossed the case in 2021.

The grand jury will not reconvene this week until Wednesday, the report explains.

CBS News correspondent Robert Costa tweeted earlier on Monday, “Per a Trump legal team source, the Manhattan DA’s office has not communicated today with the Trump legal team about any new developments or additional witnesses or evidence. As of 11:15 am ET.*”

Later Costa confirmed, “Back in lower Manhattan. David Pecker, the former publisher of The National Enquirer testified today before the grand jury here…”

  1. Well what does pecker-pecker have to say? Maybe that woody really wasn’t made of wood. Oh dear did that make peckers head turn red? So woody the redhead wood pecker-pecker…what say you?

  2. Pecker from the National enquirer? Yep everthing in that magazine is true. Just ask magoo. Aliens stole my baby. Lmao now it has become a circus. Where’s my cotton candy and peanuts?

  3. Anyone from the national enquirer would not know anything about trump but gossip. This is ridiculous and is turning into more of a clown show every time they convene.

  4. Remember: When something goes wrong in the circus, they send in the clowns to
distract the audience. Well, something has gone very wrong with this circus, and the clowns are everywhere.

    • Alyce Larson Wasn’t that a song? “Send In The Clowns”. Well, here they are and I’m getting my violin to play it. “Send In the Clowns” is a song written by Stephen Sondheim for the 1973 musical A Little Night Music, an adaptation of Ingmar Bergman’s 1955 film Smiles of a Summer Night. It is a ballad from Act Two, in which the character Desirée reflects on the ironies and disappointments of her life.

  5. National Enquirer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really. Wow, I bet pecker-head is really credible! He already testified in January. So now bragg is just fishing for some tiny flaw. Get your fucking fishing pole bragg and go ice fishing in alaska. That should freeze your ass off. It doesn’t look good for bragg, but technicality anyone??????

  6. Wow, Bragg didn’t use the bottom of the barrel, he use the bottom of the grand corrupt canyon. Disbar Bragg now.
