President Joe Biden once again took on “extreme MAGA House Republicans,” warning they would rip food assistance from families and enable 900 pounds of fentanyl to pour in from the Southern border.
“Extreme MAGA House Republicans’ proposals would rip food assistance away from families. It would put 1.2 million women, infants, and children in jeopardy. My budget would put food on the table — in school cafeterias and American homes,” Biden tweeted Sunday.
His comments appear to be directed at the House Freedom Caucus’s budget proposal released earlier this month that counters his own $6.9 trillion budget that’s likely to be dead on arrival in the lower chamber. Republican leadership has not yet released an alternative to Biden’s plan.

“MAGA House Republican proposals would slash funding for border security – a move that could allow nearly 900 pounds of fentanyl into our country,” Biden also tweeted. “We need more resources to secure the border. Not less.”
