(CNN) — Nicole Buchanan wasn’t even allowed to say goodbye to her husband.
Three weeks ago, Conrad Buchanan was a healthy, vivacious Florida DJ who loved dancing with his daughter.
The article goes on to state the following:
But on March 14, the 39-year-old started feeling sick. His wife Nicole tried to get him tested for coronavirus, but was denied.
Nicole said, “They didn’t want to test him due to his age and (because) he had no underlying health issues.”
A separate article by the News-Press explains: “On March 19, after four days of trying to get tested but being turned away, he was finally able to get tested for the novel coronavirus at the drive-thru testing site at Lee Convenient Care’s Page Field location. On March 21, he was given a positive test result for COVID-19.”
On March 22, Nicole took her husband to the hospital, after his condition deteriorated. After dropping him off, she went to park the car while hospital workers cared for him. She never saw him alive again, as the hospital refused to allow her in.
Four days later, on Thursday, March 26, he was dead. (Scroll down to see his final Facebook post, published just one day before he went to the hospital.)

Below is Buchanan’s final Facebook post, on March 21, the day before he went to the hospital, in which he begged people to take the virus seriously. He wrote:
MY PEOPLE…. I IMPLORE ALL OF YOU TO BE VIGILANTE WITH YOUR HEALTH IN THESE TRYING DAYS. WE ALL CAN BE AFFECTED….. I RECEIVED RESULTS TODAY THAT I AM POSITIVE FOR THE CARONA VIRUS. THIS PAST WEEK HAS BEEN EXTREMELY HARD, BUT THANKS TO MY WIFE, SHE IS NURSING ME THROUGH THIS, WITHOUT HAVING TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM PEOPLE PLEASE, IF YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE IN PUBLIC SETTINGS, CHOOSE SOLITARY CONFINEMENT AS YOUR FIRST OPTION. BE SAFE…. I AM DOING EVERYTHING THAT I CAN TO GET MY HEALTH BACK ON TRACK
