Sen. Lindsey Graham warned that any potential pardons being considered for people who took part in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot would tarnish President Trump’s legacy.

The South Carolina Republican told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday he believes anyone who breached the Capitol in a riot that left five people dead must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

The article goes on to state the following:

“I don’t care if you went and spread flowers on the floor, you breached the security of the Capitol, interrupted a joint session of Congress, you tried to intimidate, assault, you should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and to seek a pardon of these people would be wrong, I think it would destroy President Trump, and I hope we don’t go down that road,” Graham said.

Graham also defended Trump’s rally speech, insisting that the president “never said go into the Capitol and try to interrupt a joint session of Congress.”

“That was the choice they made and they need to live with that choice.”

  1. Senator Graham:

What’s your opinion on that judge releasing the blm/antifa activist from jail? I think he should have remained in jail.

Equal justice needs to be applied to all.

    • Exactly 👏👏👏anyone who believes he was just there to record it is crazy. Still say this was planned by Blm antifa and the dems.

  2. Not all the people inside the Capital “breeched” it. The capitol police seemed to be inviting some of these people in. There’s also video evidence that those who were pro-Trump tried to keep others from violence, so probably acted as a deterrent to those who were part of the paid Antifa mob responsible for the destruction and violence towards the police and others. A thorough investigation is needed to get the facts before making false accusations. This nefarious plot has Pelosi, Schumer, and Soros written all over it in my opinion.

    • I agree with you. And at the risk of being provocative, may I also add that every able-bodied American has the affirmative duty to prevent the illegal overthrow of our government. In this case, we had tons of compelling evidence of election fraud that the courts refused to weigh and the Democrats refused to allow proper public review. Illegal entry, criminal mischief, and related crimes are nothing as compared to the crime of treason occurring elsewhere in the building.

  3. I think that all Capitol rioters should be released without bail. Since that’s what the Dems want. Criminal justice reform means reform for all right? Or is it just reform for anyone that is their supporter? There is a reason why the statue of the lady in front of the DOJ has a blindfold.
