Britt just announced her candidacy for the U.S. Senate on Tuesday. She is a former chief of staff to retiring U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby, who announced he will not be running for re-election in 2022.

The Dothan Eagle reported: Two Republicans are already in the race: Congressman Mo Brooks, who is armed with an endorsement from former President Donald Trump, and Lynda Blanchard, a businesswoman who was Trump’s ambassador to Slovenia.

After her interview on Fox & Friends, Britt tweeted, “Enjoyed speaking with @kilmeade this morning about our campaign to put #AlabamaFirst! It’s time to step up and preserve the American Dream for our children and our children’s children.”

“It’s time to step up and fight to preserve the American Dream for our children and our children’s children!” Britt wrote in a tweet on Wednesday, sharing a photo of her family.

“The Republican Party is going to take back the Senate. We’re going to take back the House. And then we’re going to take back the presidency in 2024!” Britt vowed.

  1. I’m thrilled I would be happy to vote for her. Not sure if it’s an optical illusion but is her husband 10 ft tall? WOW… either way very handsome family!
