Former Vice President Mike Pence criticized former President Donald Trump’s lawyers for giving Trump the “wrong” advice in the run-up to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
Trump has repeatedly bashed Pence for not moving to decertify the 2020 election, something Pence was adamant he lacked the authority to do. When pressed about Trump’s recent assertion that Pence is to blame “in many ways” for the Jan. 6 chaos, the former vice president noted that at least one of Trump’s lawyers appeared to echo that sentiment.
“I know one of the attorneys that was advising the President said the same thing in a text on January the sixth but his attorneys were wrong,” Pence told Johnathan Karl in an interview for ABC’s This Week.
Last week, Trump responded as Pence has increased voicing criticism about Trump for the events of Jan. 6.
“Had he sent the votes back to the legislatures, they wouldn’t have had a problem with Jan. 6, so in many ways, you can blame him,” Trump told reporters last week. “Had he sent them back to Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, the states, I believe … you would have had a different outcome. But I also believe you wouldn’t have had ‘Jan. 6,’ as we call it.”
The former president suggests to reporters aboard his plane that the violence on Jan. 6 was Pence’s fault.

Can’t stand pence
Pence lacks the courage to go against the swamp. He may as well decide not to run in 2024 because of Jan 6 .
I’ve said it all along. Piece could have sent the votes back to the legislators ( this would not have been the first time in history ) the outcome of the 2020 election could have been different and if not. There would never have been a J6 riot, or any other riot by the same people that gathered that day. Pence lack of balls is why it erupted the way it did. 10 days for review would have changed the course of history and there would never have been a J6 riot and Ashley Babbitt would still be alive !!!
Pence is a traitor. He sided with the deep state that day.
He apparently encouraged Trump to concede. If Trump didn’t, Pence would work with others to remove him. This is what I heard anyway. Pence should confess to the truth, but I don’t think he will. Pence sees what’s going on with this country under Biden. Yet, he doesn’t do the right thing. He should help to right the wrongs, but doesn’t. He’s complicit to it.
Pence and his lack of his VP duty on J6 makes my skin crawl. Trump is right again about Pences lack of action that day and what it caused. Shameful

Nancy, You are absolutely correct. I can’t even imagine Pence would be foolish enough to waste money trying to ever run for president.
Wow told Trump to even select Pence as a running mate. Was it Ryan or McConnell. If I could ask Trump one question it would be that one. I had no clue Trump even knew him.
