House Republicans vowed to immediately ‘repeal 87,000 IRS agents’ and launch a series of investigations, including into the ‘weaponization of the DOJ,’ if they retake the House come November.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy paraded a group of prominent House members, including Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, to roll out the House GOP’s ‘Commitment to America,’ in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, a town located southeast of Pittsburgh.

‘Our job is to work for you, not go after you,’ McCarthy pledged to the crowd, mentioning that the No. 1 legislative priority was to roll back funds slated to go toward the Internal Revenue Service included in the Inflation Reduction Act.

“Under Biden & House Democrats’ watch, wages are down while crime and illegal border crossings are up. They have NO plan to fix it but offer plenty of excuses. House Republicans, with our Commitment to America, have a plan for a new direction to get America back on track,” McCarthy declared in a Twitter post on Friday.

Below is a link to the entire “Commitment to America” which Republicans released on Thursday.

Their agenda is based on four key categories: “An Economy That’s Strong;” “A Nation That’s Safe;” “A Future That’s Built on Freedom;” and “A Government That’s Accountable.”

McCarthy has released the following campaign ad on the Republicans’ plan to get America back on track.

“The American people cannot afford another two years of Democrat control. It’s time to get our country back on track. That is the Republican 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚,” he tweeted.

VIDEO: McCarthy, House Republicans highlight economy, education in ‘Commitment to America’ agenda

  1. Nice to see a platform of actions by the GOP instead of childish name calling and dwelling on what happened in the 2020 election. Vote Red!

  2. Good and after a few more tasks on your list are done time to get rid of some of Bidens administration such as Mayorkis. He’s lied too much to the public and put us at risk.

  3. We need 87,000 DHHS workers instead! Families affected by these outrageous money grubbing policies are getting buried in paperwork they don’t understand and delayed by grossly understaffed DHHS offices!

  4. The first thing they should do is impeach Joe Biden and prosecute him for treason, then go down the line removing the others! I haven’t heard anyone mention impeachment?
