In June, elites at important international institutions such as the World Economic Forum and the United Nations launched a far-reaching campaign to “reset” the global economy.
The plan involves dramatically increasing the power of government through expansive new social programs like the Green New Deal and using vast regulatory schemes and government programs to coerce corporations into supporting left-wing causes.
The article goes on to state the following:
The two justifications for the proposal, which has been aptly named by its supporters the “Great Reset,” are the COVID-19 pandemic (the short-term justification) and the so-called “climate crisis” caused by global warming (the long-term justification).
The report states that supporters of the “Great Reset” plan have touted that it will fundamentally transform much of society. In June, World Economic Forum (WEF) head Klaus Schwab wrote: “the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.”
Influential leaders, activists, academic and banking institutions, and CEOs of large corporations, including Microsoft and MasterCard, have all backed the radical plan.
But until now, Joe Biden has been quiet about the Great Reset, leaving many wondering whether he would support or oppose it. Now John Kerry, who Biden has selected to serve on his Cabinet as “Climate Envoy” has just revealed where Biden stands on “The Great Reset” – he’s all for it, and Kerry says it will happen “with greater speed and with greater intensity than a lot of people might imagine.”
Speaking in a panel discussion about the Great Reset hosted by the World Economic Forum in mid-November, Kerry declared, “Yes, it [the Great Reset] will happen. And I think it will happen with greater speed and with greater intensity than a lot of people might imagine. In effect, the citizens of the United States have just done a Great Reset. We’ve done a Great Reset. And it was a record level of voting.”
Referring to the 74 million people who voted for President Trump, Kerry sneered, “What astounds me is that as many people still voted for the level of chaos and breach of law and order and breaking the standards and … I think that, the underlying reason for that is something that everybody has to examine.”
“I think Europe has to look at that with Brexit and the rising national populism — nationalistic populism, which is really one of the priorities that we all have to address. You can’t dismiss it. It has to be listened to. It has to be understood. We have had it just manifested. And Europe has it too, and various countries. It’s a reflection of the inability of Democratic governments in many parts of the world to deliver,” he continued.
“We’re certainly a primary exhibit. We’re exhibit #1. The world is moving faster. It’s a digital world, moving at digital pace. Everything is moving faster. Ideas, people, goods… but not government. Government has to find a way to move faster and find a way to address more of the real concerns of its citizens, or there will be an increasing backlash.”
“I think what we’ve won is a reprieve, and I think the notion of a reset is more important than ever before. I personally believe we’re at the dawn of an extremely exciting time,” Kerry proclaimed.
“If you can get away from the craziness of the politics of chaos that have consumed so many, and the politics of ‘identity politics’, I think there’s a real opportunity here.”
He said government must create a structure to make it possible for certain things to happen. It’s not enough just to rejoin the Paris Agreement, Kerry declared, as he stressed the need to “move faster,” and promised we’re going to see “an enormous turn around in global attitudes and in what people are willing to do and embrace going forward.”
Kerry vowed that Biden will rejoin the Paris Agreement on Day One, right after his inauguration.
Kerry admitted that Republicans may retain the majority in the Senate, but said he felt they could get enough to support for Biden’s plans from Republican senators such as Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, or Lisa Murkowski, that would give Democrats the majority of the votes.

It’s amazing how open they are about this: “There is an urgent need for global stakeholders to cooperate in simultaneously managing the…consequences of…COVID-19…. To improve the state of the world, the WEF is starting The Great Reset initiative.” https://t.co/wXIh0cz0T1

Liberal media commentators all believe “The Great Reset” is both:
1. A wonderful idea to make the world a better place.
2. A made-up conspiracy theory that does not exist.
Which is it?
