President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump departed the White House for the last time Wednesday morning, prior to Joe Biden’s inauguration.

The Trumps flew by Marine One by Joint Base Andrews, where they were given a farewell sendoff before departing with their family on Air Force One for Florida.

The president made brief remarks to the press before leaving the White House, first saying, “It’s a great honor, the honor of a lifetime, the greatest people in the world, the greatest home in the world.”

“We’ve had an amazing four years. We’ve accomplished a lot, we love the American people, and it has been something very special.”

“I just want to say good-bye, but hopefully it’s not a long term good-bye. We’ll see each other again,” Trump told reporters, without taking any questions.

At Joint Base Andrews, Trump was honored with a 21-gun salute as he arrived, as a band played “Hail to the Chief,” before he gave brief remarks to a crowd of supporters there.

“You are amazing people. This is a great, great country. This is my greatest honor and privilege to be your president,” President Trump said.

“I will always fight for you. I will be watching. I will be listening, and I will tell you that the future of this country has never been better,” Trump said.

He wished the Biden administration well, saying, “I wish the new administration great love and great success. I think they’ll have great success. They have the foundation to something really spectacular.”

Trump also promised, “I’ll be back in some form.”

President Trump and Melania will temporarily live at their Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida before moving to a permanent residence, the Daily Caller reported.

    • I DID cry! President Trump and our true American people were cheated! If that idiot had won fair and square, I’d say “ok, the moron won, we will have to deal with it” But they DID NOT win this election and I will NEVER accept it. They KNOW they didn’t rightfully win and how they can look at themselves in the mirror each day is beyond me. We all need to get on our knees and pray during this swearing in and every day from here on out.

  1. All those sources that claimed Pres. Trump would (not should, but WOULD) declare martial — get rid of them! They were all disinformation.

The sun has just disappeared in the West. Bad things can happen in the dark. Looking forward to a glorious sunrise if there is ever another tomorrow.

    • We cannot stop fighting! We have to come back stronger and never again vote early and demand a paper ballot. They cannot deny you that. After all, look at all the paper ballots that came in when they “stopped counting” for the night. But please, don’t ever stop fighting and lose faith.

  3. The greatest President‼️ I still have trouble believing he was voted out of office for a man that can’t put to sentences together unless he is reading a teleprompter. Sometimes there is no justice in the world. The bad guys cheated and stole the election in order to win. The good thing is in the final game cheaters and crooks will not win. Love our President, his family and his administration that worked so hard for the American people.

  4. I did cry as we are seeing the loss of our Nation, and we have a demented corrupt person in the White House.
I did not hang the Flag out today, I will not celebrate Biden’s swearing in, HE WILL NEVER BE MY PRESIDENT.
My husband made that comment when Trump was swore in and for 4 years I have had to listen to his abuse of Trump and telling me I drank the Kool Aid.
Everyone that voted for loser Joe will find out very soon what they have done to this Nation.

  5. Well, the coup is complete. Our elected officials have failed “We The People…” to the greatest extent in history. Ultimately, the filth in the swamp proved to be an unconquerable foe thanks to all the dirty Republicans that refused to support our President and the people who had elected them.

The is the darkest day in the history of our country. The democratic republic established by our forefathers has been completely abolished.

With almost 100% of Trump and Biden supporters not trusting the other side there is no way we will recover from this divide. Biden has already shown his desire to deepen the divide which will push this country and our citizens to a new level of anger, hatred, resentment, and disenfranchisement.

We the patriots must remain strong, armed, and prepared to protect our country when the government chooses not to.

    America First!

  6. We should all hang our flags upside down to indicate our nation in distress!! This is a very sad day for AMERICA!! Thank you to the GREATEST PRESIDENT EVER!! God bless you, Sir, and your entire family!! My heart is broken!! 💔🇺🇸

  7. Farewell for now. He will never be forgotten. President Trump did so much for our nation. AMERICA FIRST! We need to remember this forever! We need to stand strong for everything he fought for.
