Former President Donald J. Trump created a video responding to what he called a “scheme” to interfere with the 2024 election.
On Thursday, Trump took to his Truth Social platform to announce that he had been indicted for a second time.
“The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax,” he wrote.
“I never thought it possible that such a thing could happen to a former President of the United States,” he continued. “I AM AN INNOCENT MAN!”
Trump said that he is scheduled to appear at the Federal Courthouse in Miami on Tuesday, at 3 PM.
Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., then posted a video of his father responding to the news. The video was captioned, “President Trump responds to the corrupt scheme from Biden’s politicized DOJ to interfere in the 2024 election.”
In the video, Trump again insists that he’s innocent. He promised to prove his innocence quickly, thanked his supporters, and vowed to keep putting America first.

Trump Jr. also posted his response to the news, writing, “Biden’s corrupt DOJ is openly interfering in the 2024 presidential election to stop Trump because they know Biden can’t beat him in a fair race. That’s what this is really all about and everyone knows.”
