The local television news reporter who revealed live on the air that she planned to expose her bosses at Fox 26 KRIV-TV in Houston for allegedly ‘muzzling’ her has released recordings that she claims prove her censorship claims.
Reporter Ivory Hecker recorded conversations with two of her supervisors at the local station, which were released on Tuesday by Project Veritas, in which they warned her off certain subjects.
The article goes on to state the following:
The conversations include warnings to stop mentioning hydroxychloroquine, the controversial generic drug that Donald Trump touted as a possible treatment for COVID-19, and warning her that ‘poor African Americans’ don’t care about coverage of Bitcoin.
Hecker made a bombshell announcement on live television on Monday, as she was supposed to be reporting about the horrific heat wave in Texas.
Instead, she declared, “Before we get to that story I want to let you, the viewers, know that Fox Corp. has been muzzling me to keep certain information from you, the viewers, and from what I am gathering I am not the only reporter being subjected to this. I am going to be releasing some recordings about what goes on behind the scenes at Fox because it applies to you, the viewers.”
“I found a nonprofit journalism group called Project Veritas that’s going to help put that out tomorrow, so tune into them,” Hecker declared, before jumping into her local report.
On Tuesday, Project Veritas released their interview with Hecker, along with her secret recordings.
“The viewers are being deceived by a carefully crafted narrative,” Hecker warned. “I want out of this narrative news-telling. I want out of this corruption. I’m so horrified at what the new business has stooped to.”
Project Veritas also released a video of Hecker’s boss telling her not to come in to work the next day, after her rogue statement on live television on Monday. Listen below:
Then, another video is of a phone call between Hecker and Fox HR director Tracey Rivers, who wanted to make an appointment to come “pick up her equipment,” indicating the news outlet is firing her.
Below is the original video of Hecker announcing on live television that she is being muzzled.
