An incident that reportedly happened between a Black woman and a White woman at a New Jersey mall recently has gone viral on social media over the past week.
The two women were inside a Victoria’s Secret store at the Short Hills Mall in Millburn, New Jersey.
An Instagram account titled, “WokeVideo” posted a video of the shocking exchange between the two women, and another equally shocking video of the Black woman talking to police while still inside the store.
The Black woman filming the scene has been identified as Ijeoma Ukenta.
The White woman recorded by Ukenta has been identified as Abigail Elphick, who appears to have a mental breakdown inside the store over the ordeal.
Two Millburn police officers responded to the incident inside the store, but said they did not have the authority to escort Elphick out of the mall because there was no indication a crime had been committed, according to CBS New York.
Police said they are waiting on security video from inside Victoria’s Secret to complete their investigation.

Ukenta declared she is filing charges against the police officers, claiming they did not handle the situation properly.
Ukenta then set up a GoFundMe account, which has raised nearly $105,000 in the past 7 days. In the description of the GoFundMe page, Ukenta writes:
I am a Black Muslimah Nigerian AM and I was treated like it was 1920 in Short Hills Mall. I was assaulted and harassed by a white woman and and nothing was done by security nor the police. I’m looking to hire me an excellent attorney who can help me bring light to this wrong.
All videos and updates on the situation are on my YouTube channel: Mama Africa Muslimah. I was kicked off a tiktok for posting what happened to me and they let someone else post and get millions and millions of views however they deleted 2 of my accounts of my accounts. One that I have for my Garden which was my original account and another 1 that I created after they deleted my main account.
I have been wronged Abigail Elphick (Karen in my videos,) Short Hills Mall security, Millburn Police Department, and most of all humanity. Please help me!
