They Come to America III (2015)

The COST of OBAMA’s LEGACY.

My films They Come to America I and They Come to America II both focused on the southern border, and I met a ton of Border Patrol agents during the productions. One agent said I was only touching the tip of the iceberg, suggesting the Florida waterways and the northern border were both issues that needed to be filmed. Living in New York at the time, I thought it would be easier to focus on the flow of illegal aliens coming in from Canada.

They Come to America III is by far the most political of all my immigration docs. I gave no apologies for sharing my opinions in the film, which at the time meant I had to rage against Barack Obama and his vow to fundamentally transform America.

Unlike my other films where crazy border events would unfold in real-time, in the third film I had to work really hard to find the holes. The Canadian border, which was a snowy mess when I filmed, is not a wide-open haven with tons of passages. That said, it’s extremely porous in too many areas, and we have very little protection when measured by the low number of Border Patrol agents in the region.

What really comes out in the film is the amount of Islamic radicalization that is taking shape in Canada. The influx of potential terrorists via our northern border is significant considering Canada takes in a huge number of immigrants from countries like Iran. There are several mosques along the border, one of them located at the head of an illegal passage into the U.S. called ‘the ice bridge.’

I did much of the documentary on my own, meaning I filmed myself along the borders in Vermont and Upstate New York. Although not as heart-pounding as films I and II, They Come to America III was spot on with its warnings. Today, the Canadian border is a hotbed for illegal aliens, potential terrorists, and drugs to flow into the USA.

The poster is one I wish I could do over; I do not like sharing the space with Obama.
